PAGADIAN CITY – A school teacher suffering from depression had killed herself at their home in the southern Philippine province of Zamboanga del Norte, police said Tuesday.
Police said the 49-year old Anecita Enderes Dialo hanged herself with a piece of cloth late Sunday in Sindangan town. Dialo’s sister, Violeta Maligma, discovered the body and called for help to bring her down. She was dead.
The family reported the matter to the police and Maligma told investigators that her sister was suffering from dextroscoliosis, a deformity in the spinal column, and that she struggled with depression because of this. (Mindanao Examiner)
