ZAMBOANGA CITY (Mindanao Examiner / Nov. 1, 2013) – Police are searching for a teenager who stabbed two of his drinking buddies in Zamboanga City in southern Philippines.
Police said Ritchie Mark Zapanta, 17, stabbed his two neighbors during a drinking spree in the village of Bunguiao. Zapanta escaped after the attacks, leaving the victims bloodied.
“Suspect immediately escaped and fled towards unknown direction.
Investigation disclosed that prior to the incident, victims and suspect were having drinking session at the latter’s residence. After their drinking spree, they went out of the house and while at the outside, suspect pulled out a hunting knife and stabbed one of the victims. The other tried to pacify the suspect, but he too was stabbed,” a police report said.
Police said the victims were rushed to hospital. (Mindanao Examiner)
