52-year-old woman gains fortune because of Go Bananas

Editor May 26, 2025

” Risk taker talaga ako, pag may extra ako, sumusubok talaga ako mag Lotto at Scratch-it. Sinasamahan ko rin syempre ng pagdadasal na sana ibigay sa akin ang mga wish ko. “

BATANGAS CITY – A 52-year-old woman from Cuenca, Batangas, gains a fortune for winning P200,000 in the Go Banana Scratch-it game.

Francisca Torres, who hailed from Barangay Felipe, Cuenca, Batangas, said she won P200,000 jackpot instantly just by playing GoBananas.

GoBananas is one of the popular scratch card games by the Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office. A bettor could win as much as P1 million just by paying a P20 bet.

She said that she has been betting on Scratch-it games for two years now, aside from betting to lotto draws.

“Tumataya na talaga ako sa Lotto every 5pm, tapos bumili ako ng Go Bananas, pero bago yan may nauna sa akin na bumili, tapos bumili ako ng dalawa, sa hindi inaasahang pagkakataon talaga ay sa dalawang ticket na binili ko ay winning yung isa. Pina confirm ko pa kung totoong jackpot nga, at ayun jackpot nga,” she said.

Before going to GoBananas, she also has been playing another Scratch-it card game, RedHot 7′ several times and she has won P777.

“Risk taker talaga ako, pag may extra ako, sumusubok talaga ako mag Lotto at Scratch-it. Sinasamahan ko rin syempre ng pagdadasal na sana ibigay sa akin ang mga wish ko,” Torres further said.

She will be using her prize money to build her house. Part of the winnings will be used for the education of her children. “Maglaro lang ng maglaro ng Go Bananas at makukuha niyo rin ang 200,000 peso,” she added. (PR)
