Trade name registration undergoes system upgrade

Editor January 11, 2012

ZAMBOANGA CITY (Mindanao Examiner / Jan. 11, 2012) – The Department of Trade and Industry said it is currently implementing further enhancements in its online business name registration system which started on Tuesday.

It said the processing of business name registration via its online facility at www.bnrs.dti.gov.ph will only be available from 5-6 a.m. during weekdays and whole day during Saturdays and Sundays.

“Please note that only the online registration is affected by this system enhancement. Over-the-counter processing of business name registration at any DTI field offices or at the National Economic Research and Business Assistance Center goes on as usual,” it said in an advisory sent to the Mindanao Examiner.

“The online registration facility will be restored to its normal operation as soon as the systems enhancements have been fully implemented,” it added. (Lowell Vallecer)
