Tricycle driver killed in Tacurong City

TACURONG CITY (Mindanao Examiner / July 11, 2014) – Motorcycle gunmen shot dead a tricycle driver in an attack Friday in Tacurong City in the southern Philippine province of Sultan Kudarat, police said.

Police identified the victim as Jaime Abog, 38, was shot several times in the village of Buenaflor. Abog was driving his motorcycle when gunmen attacked him.

No individual claimed responsibility for the killing and police said it is investigating the case. (Rose Muneza)
