TACURONG CITY (Mindanao Examiner / May 31, 2014) – A 35-year old motorcycle taxi driver was shot dead Saturday by one of his three passengers in Tacurong City in Sultan Kudarat province in southern Philippines, police said.
Police said April Joy Quines was shot twice in the head and body near the village of New Isabela. He was killed instantly. The gunman and his companions fled after the shooting.
The motive of the attack is still unknown and police said an investigation has been launched to identify the attackers of Quines. (Rose Muneza)
