ZAMBOANGA SIBUGAY – Two motorcycle gunmen shot and wounded a tricycle driver in an attack in Kabasalan town in the southern Philippine province of Zamboanga Sibugay, police said Wednesday.
Police said Nurgamal Abing, 38, was driving January 20 along the highway near the village of Canacan when he was shot. The gunmen were tailing him and shot him and several times without warning.
Abing was rushed to hospital as the police continue to investigate the motive of the shooting.
Police said it recovered three bullet casings of .45-caliber pistol from the village where the victim was shot. (Mindanao Examiner)
