ZAMBOANGA CITY – Alarmado ngayon ang pamahalaan ng Zamboanga matapos na sikretong magpatupad ng ibat-ibang programa para sa Moro Islamic Liberation Front dito si Teresita Deles, ang Presidential Adviser on the Peace Process, at agad na ipinag-utos ni Mayor Beng Climaco na i-monitor ng mga barangay leaders ang naturang kaganapan na patuloy sa kasalukuyan.
Sinabi ni Climaco na walang kuta o komunidad ang MILF sa Zamboanga at ikinagulat nito ng matanggap ang mga balita mula sa mga opisyal ng ibat-ibang barangay ukol sa “Sajahatra Bangsamoro Program for MILF communities” na hindi man lamang ipinag-alam ni Deles sa pamahalaang lokal.
“Barangay officials have been tasked to strictly monitor their areas of responsibility for possible uncoordinated activities such as those implemented purportedly for communities that are not recognized by the local government,” ani Climaco.
Inamin ni Climaco na dismayado ito sa isinagawa ni Deles sa Zamboanga at nabastos umano ang mga opisyal ng lungsod.
May panawagan tuloy mula sa ilang grupo na ideklarang “persona non grata” si Deles. Naunang hiniling ng ilang sektor na magbitiw si Deles matapos na pagtulungan hanggang mapatay ng MILF at Bangsamoro Islamic Freedom Fighters ang lahat ng 44 Special Action Force commandos noon Enero 25 sa bayan ng Mamasapano sa Maguindanao. Napatay kasi ng SAF 44 si Malaysian bomber Marwan na kinakanlong ng MILF sa Barangay Tukanalipao.
“There may be individuals who are sympathetic to the MILF, but we would like to emphasize that there is no MILF community nor do we recognize one in the city,” wika pa ni Climaco.
Sinabi ni Climaco na inamin rin ni Senen Bacani, isa sa mga miyembro ng government peace panel, na ipinatutupad ng OPAPP ang Sajahatra Bangsamoro Program mula pa noon 2013.
“Barangay officials have a very important role to play to ensure that all activities happening in their AOR are sanctioned by the local government. Please be vigilant and report to us any and all activities similar to this being implemented in your area. The city is not part of the ARMM nor shall the city be part of the Bangsamoro,” sabi pa ni Climaco.
Wala rin koordinasyon ito sa pamahalaang lokal. “The non-coordination of such activity has caused alarm that led to anxieties and apprehensions on the part of the barangay officials and residents where the project is being implemented,” dagdag pa ni Climaco. (Mindanao Examiner)
