ZAMBOANGA CITY (Mindanao Examiner / May 18, 2013) – Twelve people were injured after a passenger jeep crashed into concrete street pole in Zamboanga City in southern Philippines, police said.
Police said the driver, Abelardo Enriquez, lost control of the jeep and rammed the pole before crashing into the bay walk along R.T. Lim Boulevard. The 65-year old driver was among those injured in the accident.
The injured were rushed to hospital and police identified them as Roderick Sevilla, Elaine Sumicad, Lolita Candanido, Socorro Las Piñas, Aira Saavedra, Shirley Toble, Epolito Almasa, Evelyn Fajardo, Joselito Bertulana, Fauji Tulawie, and Neshama Hamsain. (Mindanao Examiner)
