Zamboanga lubog sa baha

ZAMBOANGA CITY (Mindanao Examiner / Feb. 11, 2012) – Patuloy pa rin ngayon ang babala at paalala ng mga awtoridad sa publiko dahil sa masamang panahon sa Mindanao.

Lubog na sa baha ang malaking bahagi ng Dapitan City sa Zamboanga del Norte dahil sa malakas na ulan nitong mga nakaraang araw at mahigit sa 13,000 residente ang apektado nito.

At sa Zamboanga del Sur ay halos 300 katao ang apektado ng flash flood sa tatlong bayan doon at isang tulay rin ang nasira sa bayan ng Dumingag dahil sa baha.

Inulat rin ng Disaster Management Council sa lalawigan na nagkaroon ng landslide sa Maharlika Highway sa bayan ng Sapang Dalaga at hindi na madaanan ito.

Wala naman impormasyon ang pulisya at militar kung may mga nasawing katao sa flash flood at landslide, bagamat nagpadala na ng mga sundalo at pulisya sa mga lugar upang i-assess ang sitwasyon sa Zamboanga del Norte at Zamboanga del Sur na parehong nasa Western Mindanao.

Nanawagan ang pamahalaan ng dalawang lalawigan sa mga residenteng naninirahan na malapit sa mga ilog na lumikas para sa kanilang kasiguruhan o kaligtasan. (Mindanao Examiner)
