We also pray for the 80 year-old victim who perished (in the fire). Approximately 1,000 people were left homeless. Please help. God bless you.)
Climaco rushed to the area and spoke to village officials and fire victims. The fire razed at least 100 houses at Lacaste Ville in the village of Pasonanca on Saturday afternoon that killed octogenarian Virgilio Nunez.
Police said the fire, which started in the house of Roberto Calapiz, was due to an electrical short circuit. Most of the fire victims were brought to the Pasonanca Elementary School which served as temporary shelter. (Mindanao Examiner)
