ZAMBOANGA SIBUGAY (Mindanao Examiner / Jan. 3, 2014) – Two persons were killed in separate gun attacks in Zamboanga Sibugay province in southern Philippines, police said Friday.
It said one man was shot at Kilometer 2 in Santa Clara village in Naga town.The identity of the victim and the killer remain unknown, police said.
Tha man was walking in the village when he was attacked. It was unknown if any of the villagers witnessed the shooting.
In Payao town, a 45-year old man Jonathan Lumutos was also shot dead at the back of his house in Fatima village. Police said the killer has already been identified and is also a local resident, but he remains at large.
The motives of both attacks are still being investigated by the police. (Mindanao Examiner)
