NORTH COTABATO – Dalawang mga bilanggao mula sa Maguindanao Provincial Jail ang pumuga sa kabila ng mahigpit na seguridad na ipinapatupad sa nasabing bilangguan sa PC Hill, Cotabato city, madaling araw nitong linggo.

Kinilala ang mga tumakas na preso na sina John Paul Datuwata at Albert Uga na nahaharap sa mga kasong murder at carnapping.

Ang naturang mga pugante ay pinaniniwalaang tumakas sa pamamagitan ng paglabas nito sa bubong at pagtalon mula sa concrete fence ng bilanguan ala-1:35 ng mdaling araw.

Sa ngayon ay naglunsad na ng pursuit operation ang mga otoridad para madakip muli ang mga takas na bilanggo.

Patuloy ring nakikipag-ugnayan ang mga otoridad sa Upi, Maguindanao kung saan maaaring magtago ang naturang mga pugante.

Una rito, matatandaang nitong Mayo ay anim na mga bilanggo rin ng naturang bilangguan ang nakatakas.

Isa naman sa mga tumakas noon ay nabaril at napatay ng mga jailguard. Rhoderick Beñez
