PAGADIAN CITY – Three plumbers died after being electrocuted while doing repairs on a motorized water pump in Pitogo town in the southern Philippine province of Zamboanga del Sur.
The trio Clint Doydora, 49; Julito Ratsu, 35; and Eliseo Domunud, 47, died on the spot after one of them touched a live wire inside a one square meter metal enclosure housing the water pump. The accident occurred Tuesday in the village of Sugbas Dos.
The wet bodies of the victims were on top of each other when neighbors discovered them and pulled them out after electricity was shut off in the grounded enclosure. (Zamboanga Post)
