3 sundalo sugatan sa pambobomba sa Maguindanao

COTABATO CITY – Tatlong sundalo ang sugatan matapos na pasabugan ng mga hinihinalang rebelde ang isang military truck ngayon Sabado sa Maguindanao province sa magulong Autonomous region in Muslim Mindanao.

Naganap ang pagsabog ng bomba sa isang highway sa Barangay Timbangan sa bayan ng Shariff Aguak bago mag alas 9 ng umaga. Kinumpirma rin ito ng 6th Infantry Division, ngunit hindi naman sinabi ng militar kung anong nm grupo ang nasa likod nito.

Sinabi ni Army Capt. Jo-ann Petinglay, ang spokeswoman ng 6th Infantry Division, na isang M35 truck na may lulan sundalo ng 40th Infantry Battalion ang nahagip ng bomba at nagkaroon pa umano ng sagupaan doon .

“An IED exploded in the village targeting one M35 truck loaded with troops of the 40th Infantry Battalion after which a five-minute firefight immediately erupted that resulted on three wounded-in-action on the government side,” wika nito sa Mindanao Examiner.

Walang umako sa atake, ngunit matindi ang sagupaan ng militar at Bangsamoro Islamic Freedom Fighters (BIFF) sa Maguindanao mula pa nitong taon.

Ang BIFF ay humiwalay sa mas malaking Moro Islamic Liberation Front upang isulong ang isang independent Islamic state sa Mindanao matapos na lumagda ang MILF sa isang peace deal sa pamahalaang Aquino. (Mindanao Examiner)
