3 tribal leaders, hawak pa rin ng NPA

DAVAO CITY – Wala pa rin linaw ang militar ukol sa 3 nalalabing tribal leaders na bihag ng New People’s Army sa Mindanao matapos na umano’y mapalaya ang isa kamakailan lamang.

Hinuli ng mga rebelde ang mga ito sa bayan ng Talaingod sa Davao del Norte nitong buwan lamang at napalaya na si Datu Kulumpot Dalon, 70, na tubong-San Fernando sa lalawigan ng Bukdinon.

Hindi pa mabatid ang motibo sa pagkakabihag sa mga biktima na dumayo lamang sa Davao upang tumulong sa pagaayos ng mga magkakaaway na tribo doon. Hindi mabatid ang katayuan nina Jovanie Angcomog, Danilo Angcomog at Laris Landakay na pawang mga datu ng tribong Manobo.

Sinabi ng Eastern Mindanao Command na NPA ang siya umanong nasa likod nito.

Ayon sa pahayag ng militar ay patuloy umano ang paghahanap ng mga sundalo sa mga biktima upang mailigtas sila. Matagal ng nakikibaka ang NPA sa pagnanais na maitatag ang sariling estado sa bansa. (Mindanao Examiner)
