Sulu inaugurates pier and airport terminal projects

SULU – Governor Toto Tan has led provincial and municipal government officials in the inauguration of a sea port in Parang town and an airport terminal in the capital town of Jolo.

The port project in Parang and Jolo airport terminal project were both the initiative of the Provincial Government in an effort to hasten passenger travel and movements of cargo in Sulu, and at the same time spur economic activities in those areas.

Also present during the inauguration and project hand-over ceremonies were Vice Governor Nurunisah Tan and other government officials, including representatives from the Department of Transportation and Civil Aviation Authority of the Philippines. (Mindanao Examiner)
