KIDAPAWAN CITY – The local government has ordered the closure of 40 business establishments for operating without the necessary permits.
Lawyer Christopher Cabelin, the City Legal Counsel, said the closure order imposed after owners of the business establishments had failed to secure permits from City Hall and continue to operate illegally. “Business permits are needed and we cannot allow these establishments to continue operating without the required permits. And we appeal to all business owners to follow the law or the Local Revenue Code ,” he said.
Cabelin said Kidapawan remains “business-friendly” and reminded business owners to secure their permits before legally operating. He said the local government had given enough time for business owners to permits and comply with all the needed requirements such as building permit, fire safety permit, sanitary permit, installation of CCTV, amiong others.
