6 sundalo nasabugan ng IED sa North Cotabato

KIDAPAWAN CITY  – Anim na mga sundalo ang sugatan makaraang tamaan ng shrapnel  mula sa sumabog na improvised explosive device na isinabit ng mga New People’s Army o NPA sa tulay na bahagi ng Barangay Doles sa bayan ng Magpet sa North Cotabato province Huwebes ng hapon.

Kinilala ang mga sugatang sundalo na sina 2nd Lt. Rustine Barco, Corporal Ronie Gutierez, Corporal Roldan Parcon, Corporal Shanon Obaldo, Private Rolando Bublao at Private Dennis Andol.

 

Ayon sa report, ala-1:30 ng hapon ng papauwi na ang tropa ng 19th Infantry Battalion kasabay ang mga tauhan ng Provincial Government matapos na magsagawa ng Medical at Dental Mission sa barangay Binay, Magpet ng sumabog ang landmine.

Dalawang  mga sasakyan ng militar ang pinunterya ng naturang landmine kong saan sakay ang mga sundalo. Kahit na sugatan ang driver ng sasakyan ay nagawa pa nitong itakbo ito papunta sa isang ospital sa Kidapawan city sakay ang kanyang mga kasamahang sugatan.

Sa ngayon ay nagpapagaling na ang mga sundalo sa ospital pero ang isa sa kanila ay inilipat sa davao city dahil sa tindi ng tama sa kanyang ulo. Swerte namang walang nasaktan sa mga taohan ng Integrated Provincial Health office dahil nauna na sila mula sa convoy ng militar.
