Robbers strike in Pagadian City

PAGADIAN CITY (Mindanao Examiner / Dec. 15, 2013) – Gunmen struck in Pagadian City in Zamboanga del Sur province disarming a security guard and  robbing a woman in two separate incidents, police said Sunday.

Police said motorcycle gunmen attacked Jerry Masibay, Jr. who was guarding Chiong Consumers Mart and stole his .38-caliber revolver.

He told policemen that gunmen struck him in the head and then took his weapon and wallet before fleeing.

Police also said that robbers also held up Isabel Guanzon, 33, at Purok Bagong Silang in the village of Balangasan and carted her shoulder bag. The gunmen escaped after the stickup. (Mindanao Examiner)
