
ZAMBOANGA CITY (Mindanao Examiner / July 11, 2013) – Police captured three men and rescued a two-year old boy they allegedly abducted Thursday in Zamboanga City in southern Philippines, officials said.
Officials said the boy was reunited with his parents following the daring rescue in the coastal village of Recodo.
Those arrested were identified by the police as Ryan Asali, 30; Alvin Saudani, 20, and Asiri Andak, the driver of the get-away vehicle. A fourth man, who was only identified by his first name as Buddy, is still being hunted by the police.
Officials said the boy was abducted inside their house in Tumaga village.
Police launched an investigation into the motive of the abduction. (Mindanao Examiner)
