ZAMBOANGA CITY – Police forces killed a bandit leader and captured 2 others following a firefight that also left injured a policeman on Friday in Zamboanga del Norte’s Sibuco town in southern Philippines, officials said.
Officials said Jamaruddin Alih alias Boy Takas was shot dead in the village of Lakiki where the fighting erupted. Alih’s son Nurjin and Danny Kairal were both wounded in the clash and eventually captured.
