Detachment ng militar, niratrat ng NPA!

KIDAPAWAN CITY (Mindanao Examiner / May 7, 2012) – Tinira ng mga rebeldeng New People’s Army ang isang detachment ng militar sa North Cotabato province sa Mindanao sa patuloy na opensiba nito sa magulong reghiyon.

Malimit na ang opensiba ng NPA sa ibat-ibang bahagi ng Mindanao, ngunit sa kabila nito ay minamaliit lamang ng liderato ng militar ang mga pag-atake ng rebeldeng grupo.

Sinabi naman ng 6th Infantry Division na walang casualties sa panibagong atake ng mga rebelde na naganap Linggo ng gabi sa North Cotabato at binansagang na harassment lamang umano ito.

Hindi rin nagbigay ng anumang pahayag ang NPA ukol sa atake at bigong plano na makubkob ang detachment ng 57th Infantry Battalion. Nagtagal rin ang sagupaan ng halos 15 minuto at natigil lamang ng tumakas ang mga rebelde.

Nuong nakaraang linggo lamang ay inatake rin ng mga rebelde ang militar sa Bukidnon province at Davao City at nagbanta pa ng mas malaking opensiba sa rehiyon.

Matagal ng nakikibaka ang NPA upang maitatag ang sariling estado sa bansa. (Mindanao Examiner)
