PAGADIAN CITY (Mindanao Examiner / Sept. 7, 2013) – A 55-year old farmer was shot dead by a lone gunman in front if his horrified friends in the town of Margosatubig in Zamboanga del Sur province in southern Philippines, police said Saturday.
Police said Henry Coluban was drinking with friends when the gunman arrived on a motorcycle and without warning shot him with a .45-caliber pistol. The assailant fled after the shooting.
Coluban had just attended a birthday party with his family in the village and was only hanging around with friends when the attack occurred. He was shot twice in the head.
Policemen pursued the gunman, but did not catch with the killer. Police are investigating the motive of the killing. (Mindanao Examine
