MANILA (Mindanao Examiner / Feb. 19, 2014) – Interior Secretary Mar Roxas has  ordered the Philippine National Police to fast-track the hiring of civilian employees in their organization to boost the number of policemen fighting crimes on the streets.

Roxas has encouraged young, idealistic and disciplined high school graduates with technical or vocational skills, and college undergraduates to take the opportunity of joining the police organization.

Roxas, who is also chairman of the National Police Commission, said applicants may inquire and apply for the vacant positions at regional, provincial and municipal police offices or stations across the country.

The police need over 7,000 civilian employees for various police stations.
