
ZAMBOANGA CITY (Mindanao Examiner / Dec. 18, 2013) – One security guard was killed in a gun duel with another guard in the southern Philippine city of Dipolog, police said Wednesday.
Police said it arrested the shooter, Elmer Caemare, 39, and his weapon was also recovered. Caemare is being investigated by the police for the killing of Felmor Javier, 45.
Chief Inspector Ariel Huesca, a regional police spokesman, said both security guards were detailed at the Paragon Group Distributor Corporation along Quezon Avenue. He said the two had a heated argument that led to the duel.
