ILAGAN CITY, ISABELA – “The first commandment in the satanic bible is not to worship Satan or worship other gods, rather the first commandment is to do whatever you want to do, because when you live for yourself, you live for sin, and you live for Satan.” – This was the message that awakened the spiritual life of the members of the Jesus Miracle Crusade International Ministry (JMCIM) Cagayan Valley and Isabela Outstations.

Luke Smith, a Minister of the Jesus Miracle Crusade, expressed in his preaching the Bible verse – “What profit a man if he gains the whole world, but loses his own soul,” – exemplifying the superstar Michael Jackson being wealthy and famous, but having no peace. As he quoted Jackson’s line, “I would give all my wealth just to buy a sleep.”

After the crusade, a Jesus Miracle Youth Crusade (JMYC) Peace Concert was conducted and headed by Luke himself and his wife Annaliza Almeda-Smith, who is one if the daughters of influential and well-respected JMCIM Evangelist Wilde E. Almeda. JMCIM is the top most religious group in the Philippines.

JMYC is one of the advocacies of the Smith couple to spread God’s love through the power of music which they strongly believe will “give hope and enlightenment to the Filipino youth.”

Sister Lizzie Almeda, one of the Evangelist Almeda’s daughters, was also present during the occasion together with her husband Minister Gary Panganiban and their children.

The concert was not only for the youth, but also for the “young in heart” as brethren of different ages danced and jumped in the crowd in a joyous music that lifts praises to God and sang in chorus as they felt His holy presence.

Brother Danny Cuarteros said members of the Philippine Army’s 86th Infantry Battalion turned “soldiers of Christ and preachers of JMCIM,” also joined the concert  and rendered the song entitled “In Jesus Name,” which made all those in the concert realized that “ang paglilingkod sa Diyos ay walang pinipiling propesyon.”

“Dozens of souls have turned to God through water baptism and accepted Him as their Lord and Savior,” he said.

The concert’s production numbers also drew praises and were likened to a Hollywood musical play because of the interpretative rendition of God’s words into beautiful songs and worships.

Brother Cuarteros, himself a prayer warrior, said the energetic Smith couple are expected to hold concert tours in Cagayan de Oro City, Davao and Cebu provinces. (Mindanao Examiner)
