Man killed in Zamboanga Sibugay

ZAMBOANGA SIBUGAY (Mindanao Examiner / Mar. 9, 2014) – A 54-year old man was shot and killed by two assailants in the southern Philippine province of Zamboanga Sibugay, police said on Sunday.

Police said Nicolas Dologuin was driving his motorcycle with his wife when two motorcycle gunmen blocked their path and shot the victim. Doloquin’s wife was spared by the killers who attacked the duo in the village of Bella in Alicia town.

The assailants fled after the shooting. Doloquin was rushed to the Alicia District Hospital, but died along the way.

Police said it is investigating the motive of the shooting. (Mindanao Examiner)
