ZAMBOANGA CITY – A villager who picked up a prostitute was held up by the woman and her male companion inside a lodging house in Zamboanga City in southern Philippines, police said Saturday.
The 33-year old victim told police that he was held up by the duo inside the lodging house on the night of January 1. He said he picked up the woman at Barcelona Street near Shop-o-Rama Department Store and brought her to the inn.
He said he lost P700, including his cell phone, to the duo.
Prostitutes are actively operating in downtown Zamboanga where they usually hang around with their pimps. (Mindanao Examiner)
