ZAMBOANGA CITY (Mindanao Examiner / Apr. 27, 2013) – A 24-year old man was shot and seriously wounded early Saturday in Zamboanga City in the southern Philippines, police said.
Police said Alsharif Pulalon was first mauled by three men and shot twice in the city’s business district.
It said Pulalon and his companion were walking when the trio blocked their path and attacked the victim.
Police said Pulalon managed to run several blocks away, but he was chased by the gunmen and eventually caught up with him and shot the victim twice in the head. The gunmen escaped after the shooting.
No individual claimed responsibility for the attack and police is still investigating the motive of the shooting. (Mindanao Examiner)
