Pampasabog nabawi sa Sultan Kudarat

COTABATO CITY (Mindanao Examiner / Mar. 11, 2012) – Nabawi ng militar ang isang bala ng 90mm recoilless rifle at isang 60mm mortar bomb sa bayan ng Lambayong sa Sultan Kudarat province.

Hindi pa mabatid kung sino ang nag-iwan ng mga bala, ngunit ito ang kadalasang gamit ng mga terorista at rebelde sa paggawa ng mga improvised explosive device, ayon kay Col. Prudencio Asto, ang tagapagsalita ng 6th Infantry Division, sa Maguindanao province sa central Mindanao.

Iniwan ang mga bala sa isang kalsada sa Baranagay Midtapok, ayon pa kay Asto.

“Hindi pa natin ma-determine kung sino ang nag-iwan ng mga bala, pero we are sure na they came from lawless elements. We still don’t know whether these would be used to attack civilian or military targets,” wika nito sa Mindanao Examiner.

Isang pagsabog rin ng 81mm mortar halos tatlong kilometro lamang ang layo mula sa isang detachment sa Baranagay Maitumaig sa bayan ng Datu Unsay sa Maguindanao province ang inulat ng Ist Mechanized Brigade.

Hindi rin tiyak kung sino ang nagpasabog nito, ngunit may mga armadong grupo na aktibo sa lugar, kabilang na rito ang mga rebeldeng Muslim at private army ng mga political clans. (Mindanao Examiner)
