Matud pa sa Forbes, nag-unang bentaha sa Pilipinas alang sa U.S. retirees ang ubos nga  cost of living, kamaayong mamolong og Ingles sa mga Pinoy ug  ang kaanindot sa mga talan-awon sa nasud.

Ang mga nasud nga nasulod sa listahan sa Forbes 20 Best Foreign Retirement Havens For 2015 mao ang: Australia, Belize, Canada, Chile, Columbia, Costa Rica, Croatia, Ecuador, France, Ireland, Italy, Malaysia, Mexico, Nicaragua, Panama, Philippines, Portugal, Spain, Thailand ug Uruguay.

Tungod niini, gikalipay ug positibo ang Malakanyang sa pagkasulod sa Pilipinas sa Top Foreign Retirement Havens’ sa Forbes.

Matud pa ni Sonny Coloma, sa Presidential Communications Operations Office, gikalipay sa Palasyo ang pahayag sa Forbes ug angay kining mahimong sumbanan aron mas ayuhon pa sa nasud ang aspeto sa investment climate.

Giingong mas paningkamotan pa gihapon sa gobyerno sa pagpanguna sa Department of Tourism aron mamentinar ang pagkahimong attractive destination sa atong nasud.

Una nang gibutyag ni Tourism Secretary Ramon Jimenez ang pagsaka sa tourist arrival sa Pilipinas nga nikabat na sa 4.83 milyon niadtong 2014 nga mas daghan pa kun itandi sa 2013. (MBCN, ECB)
