PAGADIAN CITY (Mindanao Examiner / Dec. 15, 2013) – Police arrested one of three gunmen who abducted a village chieftain in the southern Philippines, police said Sunday.
Police said Jasser Siddik was arrested after he was positively identified by the son of Cecilia Alas-as, village chieftain of Officials said masked gunmen also barged in the house of Cecilia Alas-as, village chieftain of Paniran in Sibuco town in Zamboanga del Norte.
His two companions Yusoph Maliki and Jumrani are still at large. The trio barged in the house of Alas-as and dragged the woman to the shore where a motorboat was waiting.
