PAGADIAN CITY (Mindanao Examiner / Dec. 15, 2013) – A policeman died and three others injured after the government van they were riding overturned on a highway in Josefina town in Zamboanga del Sur province, police said Sunday.
Police said SPO1 Ferdinand Macion died from the accident. His companions PO3 Marcelo Andale, Jr, and PO2 Benjoe Carator and the driver Jacinto Delusa, 49, were rushed to hospital.
Delusa lost control of the van, owned by local government of Pagadian City, and overturned in the village of Upper Bag-ong Tudela. The van was heading to Dipolog City in Zamboanga del Norte when the accident occurred.
Police are still investigating the accident. (Mindanao Examiner)
