ZAMBOANGA CITY – A police officer has fatally shot a man and wounded his father and mother during a quarrel late Monday on a village in Zamboanga City in southern Philippines, reports said.
It said the 35-year old cop has surrendered after the shooting that occurred outside the house of the victims in Santa Catalina.
Police are investigating the incident which allegedly stemmed from a family feud. The officer was reportedly under the influence when he confronted his neighbors that ended in a deadly argument.
The gun used in the shooting cannot be found. No other details were immediately available about the shooting incident. (Christina Diabordo)
