PAGADIAN CITY (Mindanao Examiner / Nov. 27, 2013) – A 19-year old man has surrendered to a pro-government militia, saying he stabbed a passenger of a jeep in Pagadian City in Zamboanga del Sur province.
Joel Camaso said he stabbed 41-year old Ricky Magang from a jeep at Purok 2 in the village of Lourdes and fled after the attack. Camaso later surrendered to Arnel dela Cruz, who brought him to the police.
Magang was stabbed once in the abdomen and has been brought to the hospital.
Police said the attack on Magang was connected to a longstanding grudge between the two men. It was unknown whether Magang would press charges against his attacker. (Mindanao Examiner)
