ZAMBOANGA CITY (Mindanao Examiner / Jan. 4, 2014) – Two teenagers were shot and wounded by motorcycle gunmen in an attack before dawn Saturday in Zamboanga City in southern Philippines, police said.
Police said the victims were rushed to the hospital after being shot by one of two unidentified gunmen along Saavedra Road in Santa Maria village. Both victims, who are residents of the village, were shot in the legs.
A Red Cross ambulance contacted by villagers brought the victims to the hospital. Police are still investigating the motive of the attack and who were behind it. (Mindanao Examiner)
