PAGADIAN CITY (Mindanao Examiner / Jan. 4, 2014) – Masked gunmen shot and wounded a couple and their son in an attack in the town of Mahayag in Zamboanga del Sur province, police said Saturday.
Police said two gunmen riding tandem on a motorcycle shot the victims – Marcelito Inanod, 41, his wife Rolinda, 38, and son Jaypee, 22 at Purok 6 in the village of Lourmah.
The victims were just sitting outside their house when the gunmen arrived and without warning opened fire and then fled after the shooting.
The motive if the attack is still unknown. (Mindanao Examiner)
